Consciousness-Based Education presented at Europe's foremost education fair

A remarkable solution to the challenges faced by schools today is being introduced for the first time at Europe's largest education fair in Hannover, Germany, from 10-14 February. The annual fair features 700 exhibitors, and is attended by approximately 90,000 educators, and 800 journalists.
Consciousness-Based Education, which includes the practice of the Transcendental Meditation Technique, founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, has proven to be uniquely successful. The scientific research on the programme is extensive—outcomes include improved academic achievement, prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, reduced stress and anti-social behaviour, to name only a few. A growing number of schools worldwide have used the programme, with impressive results.
The principles and benefits of Consciousness-Based Education are being presented by the Foundation for Total Knowledge-Based Education of the Global Mother Divine Organization, together with the Ladies' Association for Vedic Education in Germany. Experts in the programme include scientists, teachers, and a physician, who will hold a seminar on the development of total brain potential, including a live demonstration of the unique EEG brainwave changes during Transcendental Meditation. Video interviews feature the personal experiences of students and educators.
Guidelines are available for those wishing to establish Consciousness-Based Education schools in their own areas, and for incorporating the programme into existing institutions.
