Global Good News, 30 April 2007
Lt Col Gunter Chasse, a retired German Army officer with 40 years of decorated military experience, and Founder of Invincibility of the Global Country of World Peace for Germany, reported on the third point of Maharishi's six-point programme, which includes the establishment of high-level Maharishi Ayur-Veda health centres in every country. His report focused on the Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre in Bad Ems, Germany, which is run by Dr Karin Pirc and Mr Lothar Pirc.
In 1992, the state government of Rheinland-Pfalz asked the couple to open a Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre in the well-know Spa of Bad Ems, located in the former residential palace of the German Emperor, Kaiser Wilhelm I. Over the past 15 years, the clinic has treated about 12,000 guests, and 1,500 people have learnt Transcendental Meditation as a result of their visits there.
For years, the Pircs have taken numerous avenues to gain full recognition by German health insurance companies. Mr Pirc has also made many presentations on the effectiveness of Maharishi Ayur-Veda to state and federal parliament officials in order to gain support for this alternative natural healing method.
Currently the only state-recognized private clinic with hospital centers for Ayur-Veda in Germany, the health centre in Bad Ems has received numerous awards and honors over the past 15 years for its superior service to people from all over the world. The honors and awards are evidence not only of the quality of services, but also of the professional level of Dr Pirc's expertise. She received the award for Best Ayurvedic Physician of 2006, becoming the first European doctor to receive this award from an Indian medical association.
In addition to achieving a record of excellence, service, and compassion, this 'lighthouse of good health' in Germany now accepts payment in Raam Europe and also uses this new Global Development Currency for its expenditures—and thus a portion of these exchanges will ultimately support Maharishi's poverty removal programs in developing countries.
