Maharishi's programme for 12 Jyotir Lingas, 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars, and 192 countries
On the Maharishi Global Family Chat on 18 March 2008, Dr Harris Kaplan, Raja of India for the Global Country of World Peace, gave a beautiful, inspiring, and thorough presentation of the details of the programme to create Invincible India and through Invincible India, world peace.
This programme is one of the crowning achievements of the 50 years lifelong work of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, which was accomplished in early January 2008.
Raja Harris Kaplan worked closely with Maharishi in the completion of all the details of the programme during the 12 January celebrations in Meru, Holland, inaugurating Maharishi's Year of Invincibility—Global Raam Raj.
The programme includes plans for the establishment in India of 12 Jyotir Lingas; the close association of those with 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars* in 48 cities throughout India; and of those 48 with 192 countries of the world.
Maharishi established this programme as one of the central elements in his planning for the future of the Global Country of World Peace to function through administration through silence (please visit the Global Good News articles: 'Maharishi begins . . .', and '. . . exemplifying administration through silence').
On the Global Family Chat, Raja Harris explained the purpose and overall structure of this programme. 'All across India Maharishi has so beautifully organized that the administration of the Global Country of World Peace will move always in that moving and unmoving silence; and the plan for that is for 12 Jyotir Lingas. At each one of the 12 Jyotir Lingas will be built beautiful homes for 750 Vedic Pandits; each one of the Jyotir Lingas is associated with three other places, and one plus the three makes four. So in India there will be 12 Jyotir Lingas, each times four, making 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars. These 48 are each connected to four countries, making 192 countries of the world.'
In his talk, Dr Harris Kaplan, Raja of India for the Global Country of World Peace, gave a beautiful, inspiring, and thorough presentation of the details of the programme to create Invincible India; and through Invincible India, world peace—one of the crowning achievements of the 50 years lifelong work of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
Raja Harris Kaplan went on to present detailed charts on which were compiled all the names and locations of the 12 Jyotir Lingas and 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars* in India, and the 192 countries of the world with which they are associated. This list appears below.
Raja Harris first explained that each of the 12 Jyotir Lingas is associated with three other locations—thus there are four Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars related to that Jyotir Linga. (One of the four Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars is in the same location as the Jyotir Linga itself.) Each of the 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars is further associated with four countries, 192 countries in all.
Raja Harris explained that just as the plan calls for the 12, 48, and 192 locations and countries, it has also been organized for India—'every single district within every state of India also has its association with one of the 48'. In the list, following each Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar also appears the state of India associated with that particular Jyotir Linga and Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar.
Thus, as he pointed out, Maharishi's global programme of administration through silence is beautifully structured so that the influence of the 12 Jyotir Lingas will spread throughout all the districts and states of the whole population of India, and throughout 192 countries of the world. 'And just as everyone in the world will have the bliss of thinking, ''This is my association, how I'm connected back to eternal silence,'' so everyone in India will have that as well.'
Raja Harris also noted in many cases, the total population of the states associated with each Jyotir Linga—'Each one of the 12 Jyotir Lingas is associated with part of India, approximately 80 million people, all together 1 billion people of India.'
Going through the list, he also pointed out that each of the 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars has been chosen for its location, and also for some very specific Vedic aspect** associated with it. He also gave special mention to the 'first-level country'—the first of the four countries associated with each Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar.

Dr Harris Kaplan, Raja of India for the Global Country of World Peace, gave a beautiful, inspiring, and thorough presentation of the details of the programme to create Invincible India; and through Invincible India, world peace—one of the crowning achievements of the 50 years lifelong work of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
After presenting the detailed charts of all the names and locations of the 12 Jyotir Lingas and 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars* in India, and their associated 192 countries of the world, Raja Harris commented that it was a very blissful experience for him to go through this whole list now. Maharishi had focused so much on all the details, and went through all the locations many times, changing things here and there, 'and now to see it finished, and the whole organization set, is very fulfilling', he said.
He also said that Dr Roget Audet, Surveyor General of the Global Country of World Peace, is working on new maps and new ways to illustrate the entire administration of India and the 192 countries of the world, through these 12 Jyotir Lingas and 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars. One will be a map for each of the Rajas, so he can see how the programme is organized for his countries, how they are associated with particular Jyotir Lingas and so forth. Dr Audet is also creating a map of the whole world, with lines connecting the 192 countries to their Jyotir Lingas and Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars.
Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace, commented on Raja Harris Kaplan's presentation: 'Everybody can see how their country is linked to the eternal silence which is the basis of the administration through silence.' He summarized the main elements: 'Each country is linked to its Brahmananda Saraswati Nagar, with a big group of about 750 Vedic Pandits in each Brahmananda Saraswati Nagar; these Pandits are linked to their Jyotir Linga, and they will be doing the Yagyas for those four countries, wherever they are in the world, and forever.'
Dr Swan asked Raja Harris how this great achievement would be accomplished for all times to come; and whether it would be appropriate for those countries to contribute to the creation of that group of Vedic Pandits in the Brahmananda Saraswati Nagars?
Raja Harris expressed the hope that, in the coming days and weeks, the people of every country associated with each Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar would act to ensure that each of the 48 will be built as soon as possible—and that they would be able to have the joy of visiting their own country's Brahmanand Saraswati Nagar.
'The plans are ready,' Raja Harris said. 'I feel everyone in our world family will want the great joy of knowing that they're participating' in this opportunity to protect and take care of their country. His next presentation will present in great detail the building plans for the Brahmananda Saraswati Nagars, with some new elements.
Raja Harris also mentioned the desire to very soon have a grand tour of all 48 Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars, laying the foundation for achieving, together with all the Rajas and Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace, Maharishi's beautiful programme—so that everyone can look back at the end and say, 'All has been done.' We feel so fortunate, he said—it is very blissful to be connected with Maharishi's planning for global administration through 'the bliss of eternal pure silence'.
