Artist Dr David Lynch, renowned Hollywood director, philantropist, pioneer for Consciousness-Based Education and Trustee of Maharishi University of Managment spoke today on his upcoming feature film on Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
The film will have three main sections. The first section will document Maharishi's life story, including footage and narration of his beginnings, his world travels, his relationship with Guru Dev*, and other aspects of his life. Dr Lynch plans to visit India with camera crews, to gather footage of key locations in Maharishi's life. His tour of India will include visits to Maharishi's birthplace, Jyotir Math, Uttarkashi, and Rameshwaram.
The second phase of the film will use computer graphics to illustrate main principles of Maharishi's teachings, on topics such as the Unified Field, higher states of consciousness, the relationship between human physiology and the Veda, the mechanics of Yogic Flying, and brain evolution through practice of the Transcendental Meditation Technique. The computer graphics section will be projected in 3D, so that people viewing the film can sense the Unified Field surrounding them, not just flat on the screen.
The third section of the film will focus on how Maharishi has altered the trends of time, changing the course of history for mankind through his many programmes. This section will address widespread changes in political and economic collective consciousness, brought about through group practice of Yogic Flying. Also, it will highlight the transformation of students' lives through practice of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, using the examples of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, Maharishi University of Management, and schools throughout the US which have recently adopted TM into their curriculum.
Dr Lynch will consult various Global Country of World Peace leaders, including Rajas, in the making of the film. 'Dr Lynch is a great genius,' said Raja Emanuel, Raja of Invincible Germany, who had invited Dr. Lynch last year to Germany to lay the foundation stone for the Invincible Germany University in Berlin. 'This will be a masterful work of art,' he said.
