Speaking on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Colonel Gunther Chasse, International Deputy Minister of Invincible Defence for the Global Country of World Peace, gave progress reports from around the world.
Invincible Defence is a programme of Maharishi's Vedic Science to create indomitable coherence in the collective consciousness of a nation through the technology of the Transcendental Meditation Technique and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
South Korea
Dr Lee, National Director of South Korea for the Global Country of World Peace, Dr (Colonel) Brian Rees, a medical doctor in the US Army and the National Director of Invincible Defence of the United States, and David R Leffler, PhD, Executive Director of Invincible Defence Technology, were invited to attend an international conference on Armed Forces and Conflict Resolution in a Globalized World. The conference was held in Seoul, July 2008, by the International Sociology Association of Korea, and was sponsored by the Korean Military Academy and Seoul National University. Dr Lee and Colonel Rees spoke with influential military officials and scientists at the conference.
Dr Lee, Colonel Rees, and Dr Leffler recently held a conference on Invincible Defence Technology at the National Parliament Memorial Grand Hall. The Military Journal of South Korea published an article, and the Mental Science Journal will soon publish the Korean translation of Dr Leffler's presentation. Following the conference, three military leaders, including a Two Star General and a Colonel, as well as aides of Parliament members who attended, called to get more information about Invincible Defence Technology.
Trinidad and Tobago
A top government official requested proposals from the Global Country of World Peace for programmes to curb the nation's crime wave, and for prisoner rehabilitation.
Russia
A successful businessman in south Russia, who is also an active teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Technique and the National Director of Defence for the Global Country of World Peace, has been sponsoring a group of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* to create coherence in this area of Russia which is in urgent need of peace. His business expansion plans include supporting larger and larger coherence-creating groups of Transcendental Meditation practitioners and Yogic Flyers.
* Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men wishing to dedicate themselves to the most rapid pace of evolution and to creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying—the foundation of their administration through silence, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.
Spain
Coherence-creating groups of 70 Yogic Flyers and 30 Transcendental Meditation practitioners meet weekly in several major cities. The groups enjoy the practice of Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, followed by knowledge presentations.
Turkey
The National Director of Defence for the Global Country of World Peace, a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and now retired from civilian service in NATO headquarters, will begin a series of presentations to veterans of the security forces. Many of these veterans suffer from mental and physical injuries. Through veterans' associations, he will introduce the immediate benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme for alleviating stress.
United Arab Emirates
There are about 100 practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, having been instructed by Teachers from other countries over the years. Three Transcendental Meditation Teachers have recently been trained, the first from the United Arab Emirates. They have instructed 60 people in the past four months, and are planning the first Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme course for the country.
Germany
Colonel Gunther Chasse, as Director of Invincible Defence for Germany, has given a series of talks in Germany at the Centre of Military Leadership Training, the Institute of Peace Research, and the Security Policy University of Hamburg, as well as to leaders of the Federal Association of Reserve Forces.
A presentation on the Transcendental Meditation Programme was given to the director of a military hospital as a means to alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder. Accompanying Colonel Chasse were Dr Sarina Grosswald, EdD, an expert in stress related disorders, and neuroscientist Dr Alarik Arenander, PhD, Director of the Brain Research Institute at Maharishi University of Management in the USA. Dr Arenander gave a live demonstration of brainwave coherence during the practice of Transcendental Meditation; the response by the military doctors was that the doctors and nurses should be the first to learn.
A DVD presentation on national invincibility by world-renowned quantum physicist, Dr John Hagelin*, a public policy expert and Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense in New York, USA, has been translated into German and will be heard in weekly conferences around the country. In addition, 3,000 copies are being sent to government and military officials, key public leaders, and wealthy individuals who may want to support national invincibility and world peace.
* Dr Hagelin is also Raja (Administrator) of Invincible America, and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace.
In conclusion, Colonel Chasse, a decorated, retired Colonel of the German Armed Forces, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, and the eternal Vedic Tradition of knowledge for being the custodians of the technology for invincible defence and world peace. Colonel Chasse said, 'This is the royal path to defence which brings invincibility by changing the enemy into a friend, averting the danger before it arises.'
